The Miami Heat: The Heated Soul

The Heated Soul (For those who missed it)

I guess I hadn't realized I forgot to blog this. Luckily my cool friend Suzy had it on her page so I am posting it here....it was when we obviously beat Dallas. Enjoy!

How does one express such a joy as victory. The heart swells, there is a rhythm in your step, at any given moment you could bust out singing. That is how the Heat kicking Dallas' ass makes me feel! Dwyane served up a can of kickass, and Shaq gave them a side of "In yo' face"

So for all the Haterz, I forgive you. You made a mistake, it's human to err. But don't EVA. EVA, EVA, EVA question the D.Wade strategy. He is my MVP of the year. I am so getting those shoes!

Wade is above Kobe on the Stats List! ..4, get it!

All right, not to forget the other players. Haslem, he's coming up. He's a team player, knows this strengths and corn rows are keeping his thought mentally structured. He's in the game, he's having a good time and lining them up like a star.

Mourning, you been through some shyt and I personally extend my gratitude for coming back so strong not just for yourself, but for the game of basketball. You're no longer playing for noteriety, you're playing for the true love of game and the love of your fans. You're the Miami King of Hearts. We love you.

Peyton...pay attention the fucking ball and not chit-chatting with the ref. foo! Or was that Posey? I get those fools confused. Posey is a hard worker, he gets a gold star.

Walker, you and that damn little cabbage patch, good save though. I liked that a lot.

Williams, we need our token white boy. You did your thing, had a few mess ups, but overall a strong player. Kopono you too I guess. Simien...I didn't even notice you.

Shaq...where were you tonight? Kobe must have a voodoo doll of you, messing with your head. 54% dude...Bow Wow shot better in that Like Mike movie...without the shoes. Shazamm, lol. But you did do a good job, some nice saves, a few slips...how you gonna let them grab the ball from you. Stackhouse was in yo' face! I was waiting for you to squish somebody.

I would say overall the team did look a bit disorganized, the ball was getting passed to Dallas to many times. People were playing tough, but the heat rose to the occasion.

Coach Riley, you did a good job, you're the Dr. Bailey of the basketball court. Keep it coming. We're taking down the Lakers next year at the Finals, let me be the first to say...Kobe may be a great player, but he's getting put into retirement by Wade.

I guess what I can say about it all is that Basketball is like life. You get on the court whether you're ready to play or not. You make some important passes. You score a few points. You try not to foul anybody if they don't foul you first. You make your intentional fouls count. Sometimes you steal the ball, and sometimes you get robbed yourself. Sometimes you overestimate your abilities, and sometimes you surprise yourself. But overall when you pour your heart into it, work hard, and know that while the buck stops with you, no man is an island. Your team is like family, whether you like them or not, they're on you're team. You go out there and give them your all, and you all reap the benefits. So I leave you with the words of Whitney and Mariah.

"There can be miracles when you believe, thought hope [was] frail, it's hard to kill...You will when you believe."

Changes

Maybe I do, maybe it's because I give soo much. This is my warning to all those seeking change in other people. People are who they are, they can't help themselves. Something is pulling at them to be better but they fight back in fear losing the person they know. While you struggle devoting all your efforts to that person in hopes that one day they will bloom and shine with the beauty on an orchid (the beautiful creature you know they could be.) A little piece of you dies with every event that reinforces their ignorance. And while you know they're not shit now. And I repeat you know they're not shit now...u still feel like they have sooo much Potential. But alas your efforts are wasted and you end up angry or hurt, and even sometimes you cried. But no more, now you're just a little bitter and you think how immature people get. U know u shouldn't be angry, but actions speak hella' louder than words. But you work through it. The rain doesn't shower the flowers expecting them to bloom in return. The Sun doesn't shine and moon to rise and take its place. It just happens, it's nature. So if you must nurture, do not waste all your sunshine on one bud, there are other flowers to be cared for, flowers that will bloom. If you must set, do so, don't wait for the moon. There are people that understand that their dharma doesn't involve self-doubt, pathologically criticising, or inadvertenly hurting themselves. Wounds tend to heal on their own, but how you care for them determines what kind of scar they leave and how much pain you have to endure waiting for it to heal.... Fuck, I'm heated.... I'm listening to Linkin Park....u know shit ain't right. You ever have an album that takes you back to a dark place? Hybrid Theory does that for me. So in short, don't be expectin', instead use your time reflectin'. Pharaoh out, 1 .

Why is love to Hard?

This one is a little profane...I'm from the "hood." Lol. So I guess it's back to my roots.

Why is love so hard? Is it because it faces us to face a truth within ourselves? How many times have you been in love, or even thought you were and realized it wasn't so? We've all been there, and if you haven't you will. Why is it so hard to let go? It's like BoysIIMen said, we don't wanna say goodbye to yesterday. Yesterday is so familiar. We think we know yesterday. You don't know yesterday until you see it from tomorrow. I try to stay so positive among the negative aspects of life. Yea u see me smiling, but sometimes I feel like I'm dieing inside. But if I hold my smile, maybe, just maybe it'll inspire someone else to do the same. If I can brighten one person's day, even if I'm on my worst, then it's worth it. What's a smile worth? It's not gold, it's not money, it's sugar (yes on my tongue.Lol.) I'm about spreading the love that can't hurt anyone. My smile won't hurt u, unless I say some messed up shit after and you hear about it. Lol, but that ain't me. I'll say fucked up shit to your face. Honesty isn't hard. I think love is hard because I expect too much from it. I expect it to make me whole, and while it helps a person develop that sense of completion it's then your responsibility to fine tune and shape that shit into a definite form. It's like this...when I'm feeling someone on the real I gotta have em. Even if it's just for the moment, I want them, every inch, every thought. People just got their walls built up to keep invaders out. How you gonna not let a nigga' in the drawbriddge before asking me what I'm about. I'm not about just hooking up. I'm not about breaking couples up. (but it happens.) I ain't about lies or leading nobody on. You can't front when someone's got u open. I'm about getting to know somebody. I want your fears, tears, hopes, and dreams. Maybe u don't wanna be reminded of those things. I'm sorry for bringing it up, but damn. (Who am I talking to? Crazy self.) "I'm real. I'm honesty. I'm loving me for me." X-lyrics modified. I ain't about plaigarism, lol. But peep this, I am about a feeling. I'm about that whisper in your ear. I'm about falling in love with love and letting it run it's course. While sometimes it gets derailed, they'll always be another train. Like clockwork life hands you opportunity, u just gotta be a grown up and board. I don't wanna see no more tears and hiding from your fears. If you're not where u wanna be now, you'll get there. Just keep struggling and fight each day back. I think before I can ever love someone else, I gotta love me and that means all of me. Not just my jokes or my looks. Not just my smarts and them books. I gotta love the natural me that thrives on instinct and intuition. So I guess what I'm saying is...Why is love so hard? Because we make it that way. If it were any other way it wouldn't be worth it.

To all my homies and homegirls in the struggle. Keep ya head up. You'll find that somebody. Theere's an Angel up there keeping love alive. A, I miss you.

Where is the Love? My First blog...Cuteness

Today I found myself asking the question BEP prompted. We're all vitcims of society. We're the products of broken homes, the brothers and sisters of strangers. We're the sons and daughters of people who want us to be someone else. We've been raped, we've been opressed, we've been hated, we've been persecuted, we've been un-loved. We've been sad, we've been angry, we've been gyped. We've even been used. We're lonely. We're all just striving to survive. To procure some semblance of self and stay true to who we think we are. The things I find that help are friends, music, and scripture. They are the things that make us feel. Friends turn into lovers, music turns into dance, And scriptures turn into books. Right? -scratches head.- What do you want out of life? I think we're all searching for love in the wrong places. You find love in yourself, you find love in a sense of family, you find love in the things you enjoy to do. Love starts with you. We're all kind of selfish. Loving someone else is just realizing how much you love yourself. Real love brings out the best in you and when it leaves you just sort of forget. It's like when you left the comfort of the womb and have to start all over in a strange new place. Where is the love? It never left, you just can't see it sometimes. Love transends all negative things. Love is stronger than war, it's stronger than religion, love is the one common thing all creatures share. I know you didn't think a mother protecting her cub was just a survival of species thing. Love was invented to keep us together above all other things that tear us apart. Cherish love, don't abuse it, and don't use Love's name in vain.
