I had forgotten to post this. Oops. It's my Grey's blog. I didn't have time to read it over, but here it is if you were looking for it.
She was an extraordinary woman, Ellis. Meredith was too busy in her shadow to notice she was better. It's funny how that works out, you live your life so much in fear of others you sometimes forget if you step outside all your worry, your guilt, your inferiority complex and you realize..."I'm just me." And that's just great. I heard a quote the other day that's been ringing in my ear. "Don't try to be a mediocre version of someone else, try to be a an [extraordinary] version of yourself." Meredith had finally found that out for herself. We've seen her from the beginning struggle with issues from both parents. All those issues manifested themselves in her friendships, her work, and especially her love life. She really had a "drown my sorrows," type attitude. Except when she tried water instead of tequila she almost ended it for good. I love the development of her relationship with Cristina. Cristina's really been her anchor and vice versa. Lines like..."Are you in the dark place?" and "Do you want to dance it out?" just remind me of my own weird idiosyncrasies I've developed with friends over the years. Grey's has a natural quality of relating to the human spirit.
But you really came to hear me gush about how happy I am about Meredith and Derek, didn't you? Well...I'm not going to do it. Damn well should have happened by now though. I would have been royally pissed had they not gotten back together. Derek's still so honorable and Meredith is still so extraordinary. She helped him save a life that could potentially lead to more life saving. Well not for the Soldier, the Woman with the Cinderella story or the guy with the Bear attack...but they hopefully have it right now. Besides, I'm sort of over the Meredith and Derek cliff-hanger. They are just going to have to sink into the Happy-Ever-After background and be pillars of the relationship committee. It's going to be work, like everything else in life. But at the end of the day Derek says she can expect him to be there. And weather or not he tries to be, he ends up there. If a wife didn't hold him back, I don't know what made him think that a girlfriend was going to stand a chance. I love that Rose bowed out so gracefully. She didn't miss a beat. I adore her now. Her and Sloan are going to have sex. She deserves a treat. I believe she might be the thing to change him. And HOW awkward would that be between Derek and Mark. I can just see Derek in the elevator all smug, "You just can't resist my leftovers. It's kind sick." Mark: "Come on Derek, Rose is a nice girl. I am trying to change." Derek:"Woman Mark, she's a decent woman. And that means she's all wrong for you." But who knows. I secretly just want Rose to stick around in any capacity. She's genuine I believe and it would make for so much fun. I love especially that Derek kept his honor about him and told her before he did anything serious with Meredith. He really is McDreamy, it's not just the hair. I'm taking notes. I hope to be a McSomething some day.
And how much did you love their patient? She's a very pretty young actress by the name of Jurnee Smollet. You might have seen her in Eve's Bayou, Full House, and maybe even E.R. She hasn't done anything breakout yet, but I think there's potential for her now that she's a bit older. Kinda sucks her boyfriend died. But it was helpful that his death wasn't in vain and they learned something that helped save her.
Yang's got her Mojo Back
Yang's going to be dating soon, and I can't wait to see the comedic situations that will stem from her nervousness about getting back into the dating arena. It's been a tough time at work, so a relationship was the last thing she needed this season. I think she's fully healed from Burke. The sexual history speech was what we needed to hear from her so we could see how she's dealing with being in the exact same place, yet without Burke and without cardio-thoracic surgery. I'm glad the Chief finally put his foot down on Hahn. She seemed to be angry that Yang always had relationships with her mentors. But I just think that Hahn was scared that Yang was secretly better than her, or could easily become that way. She did study under the Doctor who won the Harper Avery.
The Vagina Monologues
Too weird for words. Callie, being a husky girl always gave me a little bit of a lesbian vibe. But like her sexual history gave no indication she wanted to test the waters on the other side. They've sort of eased into it, but I guess it's like when she said that they've been in school so long they're socially awkward and retarded. So maybe this is the equivalent of her experimental College years? Loved the naughty look on Mark's face when Hahn and Callie kissed. Classic expression. Not as good as good as the hotel room one with Addison, you know with the towel and the steam? But good none the less. A good Grey Moment.
Alex...is a Hott Mess.
Need I say more? He's not the under dog, but he sure as hell carries a lot of crap on his shoulders. And he likes to think he can just keep packing more on. But he can't. He should have never gotten with a patient in the first place. Ava/Rebecca has a huge forehead. But it's nice to know she has a medical reason for being so out of control. How unsexy was it when she pissed her pants on the couch? At least she wasn't just a liar. At least she really believed she lost that baby and wasn't just playing possum with our emotions. She needs a haircut...she's lookin' a hott mess also. I like that Izzy cared enough to be there for him. I like that she finally stepped up as a doctor. She's been breaking rules since day one and it's about time she did something hard, and did it right.
By One Point?
I knew there was some catch with George. I kept thinking the test was wrong or something, but to fail by one point? I know people who have been in that situation with the Grammar exam we take at FIU. It sucks. I passed first time... don't mean to toot my own horn...but well...toot toot. But had I failed by one point I might have lost my mind. I love how Lexi says she has a photographic memory. They say that it doesn't exist. But I think it does...I like to think some people have extraordinary gifts. Some people have great voices, faces, bodies, talent...why not memory? I like the possibilities in life. It means we don't have to accept that science is all there is. I'm a Romantic Realist. Believe in the impossible, but not the insane. Like testing you can fly by jumping off a sky scraper? Insane. Maybe trying it out every day for a year on a small, safer scale...might be a little more practical. And if it can't be done...maybe it just wasn't your year. Try again when you're 80. I'm a little out there...I been reading this creativity book. It's called, "A whack on the side of the head." I totally recommend it. It's informational and fun to read. So let's see if Georgie gets his wings. But if he and Lexi are drinking...I hope he doesn't do his rendition of Sexy Back that Yang referred to.
Bailey...is back. She's seen the big picture. God love her. The world will make sense again.
The chief is back at home.
Let's take a mental picture of the near perfection that was the end of this season...and see what develops next season. I'm sure they'll be old flames and new fires to put out. But as long as Derek and Meredith get it right I am happy. A lot of people get to fall in love and get married. But few go through the whirlwind story that took us four seasons to reconcile the personal issues on both sides. When you have the great love story...you have to fight for it. When the people are essentially good, the timing is just right...the universe will lend a hand.
So be extraordinary...Go out into the summer and love harder, live harder, and come back ready with new ideas to improve on the old idea of what love means to you.

OOC
First off, I must apologize to you. I read the writer's blog and was thoroughly satisfied with their insight, so I kind of blanked when it came to my own assumptions. So I am sorry to keep you in suspense. If you weren't eagerly awaiting this post, hopefully you still enjoy what lies ahead.
Addy, where art thou?
The Happy Couple isn't so happy. The first is a great change is visible in Addison when she actually hugs Meredith. The relationship between her ex-husband and the estranged ex-mistress is still awkward, but it's still warmer than usual. But it's better anything that will form between Rose and Addy. However, I will say that I enjoyed the exchange between them in surgery when Addison put her foot in her mouth about the whole Mer/Der situation. Rose was very forthcoming and she has that Grey personality that could possibly make us like her more, but I'm not sold just yet. Meredith and Addison have a complicated relationship because at first Meredith did nothing wrong, she was the wronged woman. But then by the actual end of Addy's marriage to Derek, Meredith knowingly engaged in an affair because he couldn't stop looking at her, she couldn't breathe with him watching her. Then he kept her panties in his pocket. And we know he deflected when she asked for them by just pulling up his pants and continually asking "What does this mean?" But now we're at a shaky juncture in the Mer/Der saga. McDreamy's building a house. Will he get a new McDog? Will Rose inherit Mer's McLife? Will this cause Meredith to finally step up and fight for what she wants, or will she cower and recoil the way she did when Addison showed up? Keep in mind that Addison, however wrong when she came back, was still Derek's wife. He did the honorable thing, the stupid thing, but honorable none the less. Is it because I'm Asian? Since Burke left, Cristina's been exhibiting Denny syndrome. She has not been as professionally pathetic as Izzy, but she's been doubting herself. It's been manifesting itself in her brash relationship with Hahn. She's become a huge glutton for punishment. She's grasping at straws for any sort of mentorship from Hahn. But what she doesn't know Izzy, the comeback kid
Just when you thought she was down for the count, she saves the game. Granted, she was just in the clinic for the day. You thought she couldn't do that much damage, but she managed to turn it around. The chief did say that a couple people would change their specialty and some even drop out of the program. Maybe Izzy will be a different type of doctor? She's definitely got the chops, it's just she needs the confidence and the instincts. I think when she tries to be too hardcore she forgets her patient care, but when she's all about patient care, she's mediocre in her medicine. She needs to find the balance she needs. That quote from Ghandi that Addison gave her, really kicked her into gear. "Be the change you wish to see in the world." I believe in those words. It's a damn good motto. Can't always live up to it. But hey, we can be idealistic without being perfect. To err is human is also a good one.
Callie's reciting the Vagina Monologues
So she's chicken only as Margaret Cho would say. If there's fish on the menu, which there clearly is,( Some cardiothoracic fish) Callie's not biting. Not a nibble, not a pinch. I didn't really think Callie was into girls. She's just got that female football player vibe. It's easy to see where one might be confused, but who knows. There might be some exploration there. Television is very Gay this month. First Hahn on Grey's and now Eric and Asher on Gossip Girl(which I will be blogging about later, if you enjoy that show, check back.)
Bailey's home is broken
Just when I thought she was back, she's really broken. She's doing the single mom thing, but she seems to be strong. I know that can only last for so long. She's gonna crack one of these days. She really needs someone. George is, well George.
I like this little relationship between him and Lexi, but I kind of miss the Izzy/George friendship. I mean just because they are broken up doesn't mean they can't be good friends. I never really thought her "love," for him was genuine. I think it was more confusion and heartache speaking. And on George's par, why shouldn't he have sex with the gorgeous blonde? Even though it wrecked his Vegas marriage. I think it was misguided and we are willing to forget it, but they need to move on. I liked their dynamic. "I'm not your sister!" Remember when they had him buying tampons? I loved that episode. The God of Vanity
He's the same. Exactly the same.
She's having his baby--not!
Quite the cliffhanger. We'll discuss it more, next time.
So I know this blog was too late to beat the new episode but I am posting it anyway. I worked on it, so it's being posted. But the next blog will definitely be done this weekend and beat the next episode. School's pushed me back with a lot of work and reading that I have to do. Stay tuned, stay interested. This thing was almost finished too, which is what kind of makes me mad. So it's a little lackluster.

Side Effects : Grey's Anatomy
[This first part in brackets is all personal filler. You can skip it if you're not interested. It's personal convo.]
[Welcome Back! I know it's been weeks and you've been missing Grey's as much as I have. The break was a much needed for me though. I needed all that time away to really appreciate the work that goes into making such a good show. I hope you all took pause and realized how dry life was without Grey's. I mean, I kept myself busy out there in the real world. My social calendar overfloweth. But as life is winding down it's nice to return to form. I anticipate a very relaxing summer even though I have three classes so far and I am trying to score a fourth. I haven't said much about the situation with my school but I will update that soon when I know more about what is going on. If you don't know what I am talking about, just disregard. I know what you're waiting for: The juice, the gossip, the insight into Grey's I believe that only I can bring.
I entitled this entry Side Effects. I am going to start naming my blogs after songs not just because Shonda does it with Grey's Episodes, but because there's something about the rhythm of writing that I learned from Elizabeth Hanly and Joan Didion. The title is taken from Mariah Carey's new album E=MC2. If you haven't picked up the album yet, check it out. It's not as bad as Mariah's Diva attitude makes it out to be. Even though I think her image is totally over the top and sometimes she tries to be sexy when she doesn't have to, she's still a good artist. It's not as good as Emancipation of Mimi, but seriously who can top that? I played that album dry. It's so etched into memory I only here digital feedback when I play it. Ok, here I go meandering again. Back to the juice.]
The Squeeze: Is she really wretched?
So it's been weeks, five to be exact, that we found out our favorite Attending with the perfect hair, kissed the nurse from community college. (Hey, even Derek said she went to a party school.) She's an imperfect person, she's stated that. But, as much as we're suppose to hate her. She's likable. Like our favorite Grey girl, she's vulnerable. We can see from her outburst in front of Lexi that her feelings for Derek are genuine. But she has to know, when it comes down to the wire, we're in one corner and one corner only. Because whose anatomy is it? It's definitely not Rose's.
I know there are a lot of you naysayers out there who are tired of Meredith toying with Derek's heart. Does he not deserve happiness after his wife cheated on him with his best friend and resident man-candy McSteamy? He does, but not on his terms. Not if I have anything to say about it. He belongs to Meredith. No matter how much he tries to deny it. He knew when he tried to make it work with Addison that what he had with Meredith was life changing. Rose, doesn't make him crazy when he's thinking about his veterinarian touching her with his hands. She doesn't make it impossible to breathe. (It's kind of twisted that you know you love someone by the amount of pain they can put you through by not being with them.) As much as we want the Mer-Der to come to a happy ending, the writers can't just give it to us. It's work. It's gonna be hard. But you know that love is real when it's one of the hardest things you've had to do and you continue to do it. The preview for next week has me hopeful that Addison will talk some sense into Meredith and make her fight for the relationship that everyone knows they both want, even when it hurts, even when it's bad."I think it's better to have someone."
At the end of the day you can expect that Meredith will always love Derek in spite of his wife showing up all "leggy and fabulous", him choosing wrong, and now him kissing nurses. And Derek will always remember the lavender in her hair, that ratty Dartmouth T-shirt, and her atrocious snoring. He loves our little dark and twisty princess and will forever be her knight in shining whatever, regardless. Rose is a nice girl, I won't disparage her. But she's not for Derek. She's not for us. She's too ordinary. No thanks, we're allergic.
The McBrothers
It's true Mark has been waiting a long time to get alone time with Derek. Their relationship has finally mended and he can't get in a word edgewise. He ruined his $300 shoes to visit the site where the McDreamy residence was to be built and was turned down by bother Callie and Erica(Hahn, who finished second in her class to Burke @ John Hopkins.) Even Mark doesn't like Rose. Now when has that ever happened? Mark, not like a woman? Hahn isn't even that cute and he still hits on her.
"Do you know what's better than sex? Anticipation... Anticipation my friend."
This is true and another redeeming quality for Rose. It means at least she hasn't been sleeping around with the other doctors at the hospital. Or it could mean that she did and caught that syphilis that was going around and now she's playing it safe. But it's nice she has morals. Who knows? She's could be a sweet girl. I won't pretend she's not. We don't know enough about her yet. All we know is she isn't Meredith.
The RockStar Contest:
I was really hoping Izzy would win the contest. She's been kind of dumpy lately and quite frankly I'm sick of feeling sorry for her. I see her character constantly growing and then reverting. Just when you think she's got the hang of one aspect she screws up something else. I honestly think she should just become a vet. Her best patient was the deer that she saved in the first episode. She's developed some really bad instincts lately but with that deer she went for it and got it done. Hopefully she can get it together or get the hell out of there. We could bring in another blonde resident. I know people are afraid of cast changes, but sometimes it's a good thing. With the rumors flying around that she doesn't want to be there, and now it's showing in her performance. She should cut her hair shorter. I need to see a change in her physical or otherwise that will redeem her character. She's too much of a people please, too in your face, "pick me, pick me." She's the hottest one, she should be commanding that. She needs to watch a little Gossip Girl. She could learn a thing or two from Jenny.
"There is such a thing as honor."
"It's dog-eat-dog Karev."
I'm liking Karev a little more. He's always been a bit of a screw up. But he says that it doesn't make him an underdog. I like that he keeps pushing through. It's not the size of the dog in the fight. It's the size of the fight in the dog. He messes up, but he keeps going, no big dramatic scenes about how much of a failure he feels like. He's had his balance of successes and failures, but unlike certain blondes he doesn't beat it to death by always commenting about it. I like Karev because his character has been consistent. He's not becoming whiney or ridiculous. But he might just be getting what he unconsciously wanted in the next episode. Because our Jane Doe (Aka Rebecca Pope/Ava/The Face) is pregnant. My guess is it isn't her husbands because why would she travel all the way to the hospital just to tell Alex? In real life Justin Chambers has like six kids. He's no stranger to the role of daddy. I know there has been a lot of press on his stint in rehab, but if you were at home with 6 kids, you'd probably lose your mind too. He needs to be back at work.
Yang is just looking more and more like a kicked puppy each episode. She's doing everything short of wiping Erica Hahn's ass when she poops. It's funny to see her pull back her brash personality. Usually she's brutally honest and unfazed by everything. But Erica looks like she really has the power to hurt Cristina's feelings without even trying.
"So you're friend with Dr. Hahn?"
"Erica."
Roach-infested Crap-partment
So as nasty as it was to imagine the interns living in the hospital, how gross was Lexi's & George's crap-partment? They look like they have been living in a crack den. Poor George. Even after Lexi cleaned up and stole all of those items from the hospital, the place still kind of looks like dump. But it was better. And even though George realized how much he complains I didn't even recognize. He has every right to be upset. Even though he's an intern again I barely notice his struggle. He's dealing pretty well.
I have some sneaking suspicion that they are going to come back to his test scores. Somehow the score was wrong and he's repeating a year for no reason. Because if anyone looks like they shouldn't be a real doctor it's Izzy. Somehow their tests got mixed up. I just know it. But that's probably my mind working overtime.
I actually like the chemistry between George and Lexi. I have since the first moment they met. I mean if he can't have the Grey he wanted he might as well settle for the cute younger version. She's equally as tragic, but without all the abandonment issues. I don't know about you but I still feel like she's been dealing with the death of mother way too well. It wouldn't surprise me if that issue doesn't resurface. But they are so busy with other story lines that we might not get to see it.
Bailey in the House
Finally our Mother Hen is back. She's carrying around her baby, running the zoo animals, and doing surgeries with style. She's back. I don't really like to see her struggle. I feel like she is the one person in the show who makes sense. She really tries hard and makes the smarter decisions and is still in the struggle. I know it makes her human, but she's Bailey. It was of course a good pause that she had to adjust to having a baby the way real people have to, but eventually you get the hang of the uncertainty and new routine. I missed her.
Hahn & Torres
These girls have been spending a lot of time together. I actually like their relationship a lot more. Callie seems a lot happier and she was never going to break into the little Rosemary's Babies pack that the other residents have going on. She seems more confident and more comfortably. George is a little on the outside but they still look out for him. Now are Torres and Hahn lovers? I don't know. Erica and Callie both strike me as the kind of women who are strong independent women. Callie always looked a little Drag-queenish to me, but she looks really good this season. And they seem to be making Hahn look a little prettier. Lipstick Lesbians? I don't think so. But I wouldn't rule anything out with the end so near. Rating are going to be important. Callie said herself working in the hospital is like being back in highschool, because these guys have been in school so long their social skills are well, lacking. It's kind of true.
The Bejeweled Pager
She won the lion fight.
I really love that Meredith had found herself something positive to throw herself into. It's of course an obvious ploy to be close to Derek as much as she denies it. It's nice to see her excited about something. I think as much as she's struggled through we can't help but root for her. Sometimes we get fed up and wonder why she acts the way she does. But each time we have hope she'll pull herself out of this lifetime slump because of her abandonment issues. She's used to being disappointed, so it's become really hard for her to accept anything really great in her life. I'm sure I wasn't the only one who almost lost their lunch when the dude who provoked the bear showed how you could see right through his hand. His rebound wife had piece of her scalp hanging off. This episode was definitely messy for a reason. It was one: to boost ratings, two: to reflect the turmoil going on inside of Meredith. I enjoy the therapy sessions on Grey's. When Derek and Addison went to marriage counseling that was classic. Meredith's therapy has been a little different. Love that Nemo fishtank BTW. And doesn't her therapist look a little like her dead stepmom? And why is it everybody has perfect timing at the hospital to show up just when you reveal something embarrassing and private? I think therapy just might help her. Because talking to Yang doesn't seem to really do the trick. She expresses only half of the truth and Yang doesn't offer enough constructive support. Meredith needs a professional.
So if Meredith can get over the side effects of her past with Derek and the twisted family dynamic with her mom and dad, then maybe she can make a new start for herself. She can win Derek back and there could be wedding bells by the end of the season. With the end near by 4 episodes we can expect something good. Last season was pretty big to top. George failed his boards. Burke surprised us by leaving Christina at the alter when we were sure she would be the one to bolt. Callie was named chief resident, which has finally been remedied. George and Izzy slept together. It was a mess last season. I am hopeful that the end of this season will be about rebuilding a little bit of what was in the emotional fire.
That's it for now. Peace, Love, & Grey's.

GA: I'm @ Home with Grey's "A Change is gonna come"
I'm Home, I can't utter any other words in my head. My head is all full with me being home.
I brag a lot about Grey's being one of the best shows on Television and I'm right. Not the best show in History just yet, but pretty damn substantial from where I'm standing. My Media Management teacher is gonna hear about this. The ratings have to be through the roof. There's no way, there's no way. So let's do a little chatting about tonight's episode. I planned to do this blog about Grey's coming up, like I usually do. But I think I just missed it so damn much, I couldn't write. I had writer's block. I mean I could squeeze a few paragraphs out, but nothing substantial. I'm flabbergasted for the second time today. I know people want to text me and call me and tell me how they loved the show…I don't want to talk, I want to write. So here I am, typing away instantaneously.
I just want to makes some things clear, Shonda Rhimes, you are a genius and you didn't let me down. Private Practice, was good. It wasn't stellar, but I mean it's one great writer split between two shows. I am glad she didn't let Grey's suffer because of the new endeavor. But I do like Addison's Character still and her show is somewhat interesting with the whole holistic medicine thing. It's sort like what Dedo calls instant soup. It's the same archetype superimposed over a different show. Will audiences get all the show's wacky nuances and Grey banter? It's a very specific verbal flavor. ( e.g. "Let's never Mc—anything." "Stop Addisoning me,")
Ok so back to Grey's…
Tonight's episode was stellar….Change is a beautiful thing.
We fight chance a lot in life. I know I do. I've come a long way from this pudgy little shy boy to someone who's opinionated and articulate. I stand up for myself. I can talk in front of a crowd without feeling the urge to purge. I just, I've changed. And Grey's has certainly changed with me. I'm not saying it's the sole reason why I've changed, but it's a big part in my motivation. How can I, as a writer, sit idly back in awe of this phenomenal writing and story structure and not want to produce anything of my own. The truth is, I can't I have to write. It's who I am. I get in my own way. I procrastinate. I have a lot of thoughts in my head that I shy away from getting on paper. And you better damn believe I am going to drain this brain one day and just write out everything I can, much like an email I sent someone the other day, to which I hope it didn't scare the Be-Jesus out of you, because wow. Anyway, enough about my life. Let's talk about sex.
Grey and Shepherd in the on Call Rooms
I love how Shepherd knows her. He knows her like we know her, because we see everything. We've got God's eye-view. So Break-up sex huh? Kind of a perfect end, to a perfect episode. Derek is our guy, remember. He's that guy that knows everything about you, is disappointed when you hold back, and then loves you in spite of all that he knows, because he knows you better than you know yourself. He knows you really want to have this relationship, but you're so damaged, you don't think you can handle it. It's a lot to ask, with the constant abandonment issues. Let's face it, Ellis wasn't really much of a loving role model, and Daddy wasn't around. The only one who really tried was her step mom, and then she died of hiccups. The Chief has started to take the role of her Father, he's been doing it since that first episode. He really cares about Meredith as his own, and he sees how incredible she is. So Derek knows all this and more, and when Mark thinks that bashing Meredith is his way in (To which he said, "I came to Seattle to get you back." In very gay undertone, which we will get to later.) and it turns around in his face. Derek is our Shepherd, he will lead us to the promise land. We will see your little tequila wasp use that wispy voice to say "I do," and get married and finally be happy. Seriously!
Dr. Yang
Can I just say, that if you watch the progression of Christina Yang on a emotional chart it will astound you. She was this complete gutsy, competitive, surgery hound (and still kinda is, I'm glad they're true to her nature i.e. her getting rid of Izzy when she came begging for help.) but now has emotion. The girl is almost wearing her heart on her sleeve. Of course it's rolled up like how they used to do cigarette cartons back in the 70's when smoking was "cool." Wait, what am I talking about, smoking was never cool. No Smoking! She saw that black man and she saw Burke on that table. She didn't want to let him go, and luckily they brought him back. How funny is it that she calls her interns by number. It's such a Yang thing to do. And when she was waiting to get paged for rule number 5. "When I move, you move," –she stands there waiting for a page.- Obviously none of their Bailey renditions, which I hope you recognize from the first episode went well enough to brag about, except for maybe Alex's. Alex and Yang had a really good bonding moment. I think they've always understood each other as competitors. They were even stuck discharging happy patients in one episode, where they were both avoiding the hugs and celebration of the happy families. They've had a kindred cynical relationship, and we might see that develop more as the season goes on.
Dr. Karev
I think Alex has come tremendously far from being the Frat Guy Doctor. He's still a little rash when it comes to patients that are non-surgical. He's surgery-hungry and there's no gorgeous red-head that he can dive into uteri with this season. She's moved on. He's trying to move on, but there's someone stuck in his head. The infamous Jane Doe/Ava/ Rebecca Pope. Whose husband you might recognize from the Mallrats movie? She left, took her baby, and Alex's one true chance to grow up and be a decent human being. Hence, why he's the new Nazi. He was the only one that did the Bailey speech justice. He treats his interns like puppies. He's still got more developing to do, and he's a secondary character really. He's dirty Uncle Sal, we're gonna invite to the picnic anyway. Because it's what Jesus would freakin' do. (Lmao, at Izzy crying, not because she's crying, but how she says it crying. It was such an honest moment.)
Dr. Stevens
How weird was the story-line for Izzy this episode? I can't even—whatever. The dear was really CGI-ish but I guess someone thought it would be cool. And I actually liked the fact that they did it. It proved some things to us that we've long suspected. We suspected that Izzy was a pretty great doctor (she learned about a deer in a day and brought it back to life.) & we also learned something else: She's crazy as hell. I mean that we kinda knew when she cut her fiancé's L-VAD wire, but operating on a deer, yea that's typical Izzy. She's always out practicing non-conventional and unauthorized medicine. She's a rule breaker in every sense of the word. But her intentions are so good that we kind of overlook that, and love her anyway. Because…she's a model. And as Yang reminds her, she doesn't have to have any skills. She doesn't even have to know how to read. She could just walk around naked all day. But I'm glad she got a chance to prove she was a good Doctor to her interns and throw it back in their faces. Don't talk smack if you're not ready to compare surgical skills you little lackeys. I don't know why I thought of this quote but, as Burke says, "This is the men's room ladies, either whip one out, or close the door." (You have to do that with the close the door hand movement. I know you miss Burke, get over it.)
Georgie…
Poor kid, loses his Father and has to start his year all over. Not to mention, he's married to Callie. I liked Callie. But they were a weird fit from the beginning. And I know with the whole George and Izzy thing, people either Hate it, or love it. There's almost no in between. It's either utterly absurd, or it makes perfect sense. This goes back to Izzy but I will keep it here, because it pertains to George. Izzy is a clinger. She's one of those people that find a great thing and smother it. She forced it with Denny, and he ended up dying. She forced it with Alex, and he couldn't perform, so he cheated. And she's forcing this thing with George. But the truth is, George loves her too. And I don't know if it's a romantic love. But when a friendship runs really deep, and you're single…sometimes it just happens. But George is married. He married Callie and broke her vajayjay… The only real thing to support Izzy's love was her disdain for Callie. Maybe she just needed someone to stir those feelings of jealousy, because the Syph Nurse (Olivia) wasn't really competition. I don't know, it's a weird thing. And in life, I'll admit there are weird things. There are people together who shouldn't be, and they are, and it happens. So I guess it's not so fictional. But George's a good guy. I sort of thought the awesome pep-talk with McGrey or Mini-Grey or whatever we decide to name Lexi was really cool. It gave George a little bit of his mojo back, like when he performed heart surgery in that elevator. He delivered a baby, and boy did I love Sloan's response. "Yea, yea we're all heroes. Can I get back to sewing this woman's arm on?' So if George and Izzy really wanna play this thing out, which might blow up in their face. Because I don't think they have any real sexual chemistry without the Justin Timberlake CD and massive amounts of liquor, then why not see where it takes them. At least till the end of season 4 to see where it goes. Callie is gonna end up pregnant, and I can see it. Was there a part where I missed if it was confirmed or not? Cuz she kinda look like she knew she was.
Dr. Torres-O'Malley
Callie is, as always the outsider. She can't fit in as the new Chief Resident. She can't fit into the job because it wasn't meant for her. It was meant for you-know-who, but that's another issue. Of course Karev doesn't listen to her, and the rest of the crew is less than enthusiastic about following orders from her. She is, and always will be someone who is trying to break the inner sanctum of the family dynamic that was built during their internship. She can't do it, she should just surrender to being on the outside. She thought she would marry George and everyone would listen to her. Again, instant-soup. It doesn't always taste good. I felt really bad for her in the moment where she said she was bad at her job, and bad at being a wife. She's really not that bad at being a wife. It's just that George doesn't love her in that Der-Mer way. He thinks he loves Izzy. Maybe, he does, maybe he doesn't. If she's pregnant she better tell him soon. This is gonna be one of those triangles that will frustrate the hell out of you. Because once somebody is pregnant, it's game over son. You have to do what's best for the child. And it doesn't always equal a happy marriage. Sometimes it's happy parents in other marriages, or relationships independent of one another. Life is sticky my friends, wear some gloves, but everyday you gotta scrub back in. I think she'll get the hang of the job at some point, but my senses tell me, she might not feel like sticking around the whole season. But I have grown to like her, maybe not as much as Addison, but a little more.
Dr. Bailey
Oh my love of the show. Mother Hen and her crazy ass little chicks. But as she says, they're not her interns anymore. They're not her residents either, not her problem. I think the Chief believes that the interns hinder Bailey from concentrating on her surgeries. Bailey used to be the Nazi. She was unfaltering. She stayed at Thanksgiving and picked up every extra surgery she could. She overworked herself. And with her newfound freedom she should be happy. She should be grateful. But like mother hen, she misses all her little chicks. Even though they are still around causing havoc: Grey cleaning severed arms after finding out her other half sister is in Seattle, doing her internship at her hospital no less, Karev ignoring pica because he wants something surgical, Yang transferring her personal feelings into her medicine, Stevens performing surgery on a deer, Georgie redoing everything he learned, but learning something new. He finally feels like the rock star of the group, granted it's a younger group. I was wondering why that damn patient was so hungry after his accident. He ate those damn cotton balls and everything else. All those coins…what a weirdo. I knew people with Pica ate paint off the walls, but that man was ridiculous. He could have asked for some ice chips or something. Out Bauley, she's gonna be all right. She needs to concentrate on her surgeries and getting home to her little boy.
Dr. Sloan
Oh Mark, our little man-whore. Are we really rooting for him. And mean if Derek can't make it work with Grey, maybe there's still hope for Mark and Derek? Lol, Awkward. He came back to Seattle to get his best friend. I say back, because he did visit that one time. We all know he came back to get Addison, and when he realized she didn't want him, only then did he throw himself into getting Derek back. Derek knows this, because Derek knows, he always knows. Even when he doesn't know, he knows. But it's admirable him still wanting to be Derek's friend after sleeping with his wife, and then hoarding his way back into Derek's life, and then running for the same job as him, and then sleeping with Derek's ex-wife some more. Mark's a real pillar of the community. We see a little tension building between him and Izzy, but who knows when they'll get to that story. Anyway…I am on the outs with Sloan. He's a good Doctor, he's got the looks, the dry sarcasm, the dirty verbal undertone, but he hasn't redeemed himself. Not just yet, or as Derek puts it,, "We can get a drink sometime, but not tonight." And that being said to Sloan, who loves instant soup by the way. He thought he was gonna be some super dad, Addison knew, like we did that it would take something bigger to change him. He had to have his heart broken. Because, how will he ever know that pain, the countless times he cheated, until it was done to him. She didn't break his heart hard enough, but it was pretty sufficient to get him to see the err of his ways. But like, Karev he's gonna slip up a time or two. So you have to be ready for it, and almost expect it.
The Chief…
Is doing everything over again…Wife still won't let him home. He's very vague this episode. I don't know if he's enjoying this taking back the Chief position stint. Besides we need the Medical Godfather presiding over the Hospital domain. And He doesn't drink because Meredith's mom turned him into an alcoholic, remember? He was in those AA meetings, and his Sponsor had cancer or something.
I could have went through Derek and Meredith separately…but I chose to do them first together. Tomorrow I will get to them separately in a more detailed report, like the scene between Yang and Shepherd, Meredith's Sister issues. And Lexi Grey…I'm not ready to talk about her yet. I knew who she was the moment I saw her…The girl in the bar…seriously. She's kinda cool, and I'm glad that Meredith caught her little pep-talk with George. So…tomorrow morning people…I am dog tired. I woke up at 6 today. I need my sleep.
So until tomorrow, you get this unedited version of my blog. It's a mess, but it's made with love.

Grey's Blog: Didn't We Almost Have it All.
Runaway Groom
"I'm free!" she shouted, as her best friend clutched her from behind, she writhed in a stunning white strapless gown. She stood in Burke's apartment, abandoned and broken by the one man she truly let in. He was the one man that made her believe she could be compassionate. Now, as she looked around his apartment, once filled with meticulous items, it was now barren. No trumpet in the corner, no medical journals, not even Grand-Mama's picture on the nightstand. Burke was gone, and Yang was free? Then why all the hysterics? The question on her mind was the same one on ours. Is he coming back? Because she's so devastatingly free right now that it's hard to breathe. She's the kind of free that makes her think she doesn't really want to be this free. She wants to be who she is with Burke, who she's become because of him. She wants to be the obsessively perfect surgeon with a heart. A heart surgeon with a heart of gold if I may pun. One could almost feel a kinship with Christina Yang, because as she was being cut out of that wedding dress, and suffocated by that choker her situation resonated with viewers. We wait painstakingly every week for a show we've grown to love and hate at times. This season has been tough. We had all summer to grieve for Denny, but come to find more deaths ahead of us. This includes the major three part arc where Meredith's nearly goes asystolic on us from drowning. Many things don't make sense to us by the closing of Grey's, and even make us angry.
Why is Meredith so verbally inept when it comes to Derek? Why is Derek being McAsshole? Why is Izzy in love with George? Why are there the multiple deaths of so many parents like Mr. O'Malley, Ellis & Susan Grey. With the season finale, all the emotional trials we have been put through this season, a viewer can relate to Christina. We're freakin' there. I'm talking Carrie, at the prom, with the pigs blood horrified. But we're free right? We're free to have our Thursday night back without the onslaught of juicy entertainment, utter shock and sometimes even despair and disbelief. We're free, and we couldn't be more hurt that they set us free with so many questions. I finished reading the official Blog for Grey's and it gave some insight to what I already knew about Alex mirroring Meredith and how they're both too emotionally damaged to find happiness. They sort of connect on this almost really sad level. Also resonated on that Izzy, George, Callie triangle. But if you wanna read it, here is the link. http://www.greyswriters.com/. I want to have my own thoughts, cuz I'm aloud. Read them both if you'd like.
When I talk about Grey's it's an emotional experience. I pour my heart out. I'm crying as I type this. I'm actually not crying, but I probably would be if I weren't at work. So I'm going to attempt to glaze over whatever topics bore me, and call attention to the ones that matter. Let's begin with something I know you're all pissed and confused about: Isobel and George.
When Izzy met Georgie
All right, I know many of you are struggling with this. And this is very left field for us. Izzy is "in love," with George? After all her disastrous relationships: the hockey player boyfriend back home who didn't understand her as a doctor (only as a model). Then Alex, the emotional criple who couldn't be honest that he failed his board exams and then cheated with the syphilis nurse Olivia. Finally Denny Duquette, the guy with the large failing heart who won our hearts. Why George O'Malley you make ask. She's treated him like a little brother since the first season. "I don't care George, look at me in my underwear, it's fine, it really doesn't bother me." He even went so far as to not buy tampons when they were needed most, and defending his masculinity by announcing in the shower, "I am not your sister!"
Side note: My favorite Izzy moment is when Meredith is writing the check out to the nursing home for her mother and Izzy walks by with coffee or something. When she walks away, Meredith jovially replies, "Hello Kitty," The show has had its fun moments, and it continues to do so.
But, for many viewers Izzy and George is no fun. Why? Because though they have been playing this cat and mouse best-buddy type relationship we never really expected it to evolve into full blown sex. (It was apparently really good sex in those flashbacks George had while talking to Callie's father). I mean when the sex happened between Meredith and George, the horror was at least shared by the rest of the interns who knew. But as Karev would say, "So you slept with O'Malley. You're the girl who gets drunk and sleeps with inappropriate men. It's your thing."
But Izzy? Izzy's the girl that you settle down with. But people let's pay attention here? When has Izzy ever made sense to us? We think we know this girl, and she's lived in a trailer park, modeled underwear, had a kid, cut her fiancé's L-Vad wire. You think we know this girl? I think, we think that we know this girl. But she's a tortured and a little dark and twisty. I mean, maybe even as much if not more than Meredith. I think what we note is her vibrant optimism. We're fond of her feminine charms and Martha Stewart meets Pamela Anderson combination. So it doesn't surprise me she's confused and thinks she should belong with George. She's clingy, she needs people to see her, beyond this physical beauty. And when she feels like people do, like Denny and George she gravitates toward them strongly. We're talking, there's the cliff, and there she is jumping off of it. She's had to make some hard choices, and we don't know her entirely, not yet at least. We haven't seen her happy in a long-term stable relationship. And this subplot is just inevitable to me. They needed something, and it's going to play out. It kind of feels like they're grasping at straws, but it's Grey's. There's a spin-off in the works, we're going to forgive the madness that is Izzy and George. And in the show's defense they did give subtle clues when Izzy was so clearly jealous of Callie from the beginning. It could just be that she might not really want George, but she doesn't want anybody else to have him.
Meredith and Derek no more?
Where they go from here? Who knows? Of course we all want them to end up together. He loves ferryboats, she loves Tequila. It's a match made in heaven right? Wrong! We only think so because we fell in love with them as they fell in love with each other. But no matter how bad they are for each other right now, we want them to find happiness. (TOGETHER of course.) Sometimes I just want to shake Meredith and ask her why she can't just surrender and be happy with Derek! But for now it's over, it's so over. If McDreamy starts dating her sister, I am just going to shoot myself. She's might be the younger, less dark and twisty, quasi-gorgeous Grey, but she's not our girl. If she narrates an episode I will cuss to high hell. No way! I can't have it. You do not get to move in on our turf and take our McLife right out from under us. I'm not saying I will hate the girl. But it might be nice to see some new faces. Everybody's single now almost. Let's break out Meredith's mom's surgery tapes and have a go at it. There's nothing wrong with opening up your social circle as long as we stay loyal to the people we love the most and who have put in the work.
The Chief starting over?
Speaking of voiceover work. The Chief was running this episode, aptly titled "Didn't we almost have it all." Oh don't you remember pre-crack Whitney? She was crazy back then too, we just didn't know it. But the Chief has some unknown territory ahead of him. I mean on the one hand he has all this experience that will help him do the job better. But the bottom line is, he is only one man. Will he be able to balance work and family? Will Adele stay with him? Will they be jonesing for a baby like Callie O'Malley. I'm sure they worked out the time table of he being pregnant by him. But who was that man in HIS house making dents in his baby's head? Grossness. I don't even want to sort that laundry. But it will be nice to see the chief get a verbal lashing from Bailey once his situation settles. Because we all know it's coming.
McChump!
Alex always loses out. We've fallen for his fatherly turnaround this season, but like Addison we sort of hate him for not really owning up to anything. He's so in love with Ava and he let her go. He was really into Izzy and let her go, I mean cheated on her, but he sabotaged himself. He had her and then couldn't perform! Alex you suck, Addison was right. You're scared, and you always hesitate and reject anything good for you! MAN UP BITCH! MAN UP! That goes for Meredith too. I think Alex and Mer were just lost at birth and might be related. Lol. Or they're just creepy Soul Mates. Something in my head is exploring the idea of Alex and Meredith dating, and trying to fix the emotional instability in one another. Weird, but you never know.
Callie a MILF?
Not to me anyway. A few people I know think she's cute. But I still think she has drag queen hair sometimes. And I don't like the stank look she gives Izzy. I mean if this were a sides thing, I'd be team Izzy all the way, but that's just because I've watched her in so many other things, Roswell, Valentine, to Wish Upon a Star, and other misc. stuff I can't remember the names of. I love the girl, she's got spunk and personality. But Callie's aight...for all other purposes. And she's everyone's Boss next season. How will that go over with Iz and the gang?
Addison Gone Bye-Bye.
Grey's, the spin off? I will write a whole other blog devoted to the "Private Practice," fans. It definitively had its moments and has room to grow. But I don't know about this Taye Diggs curse. Kevin Hill, Daybreak, even the end of Will & Grace. He's a good actor but I think he needs to step it up for TV. You can't rest on your Brown Suga' performance for the rest of ya life bro. Look at Sanaa Lathan on Nip/Tuck, she played someone way off base and drove it home. And let's take a moment to admire Addison's Anatomy. That woman is gorgeous, lovable, and sultry. She's got Bette Davis eyes. Ok, enough said for now. Oh and she's engaged in real life, best of luck with that. She's known him only a few months. But hopefully when it's love, it's love. She's getting a new job and a new life. Thanks Chief.
Bailey Backlash?
Ok, she's been working her butt off. She's been put through the ringer with these lovable yet troublesome set of interns. She's Bailey. We love, trust, respect, fear, and sometimes, wanna hug the Miranda Monster that is Dr. Bailey. Why didn't she get promoted? Well, it's her family. She needs to spend time, not only with her son, but her husband too. She's been neglecting them, especially her husband the Thanksgiving before the baby came. She was at the hospital fishing chicken bones out of people's esophagus. And come on, singing her baby tro sleep over the phone. Come on now, she needs to be home more for special moments. She's the overachiever who can't do it all and is pushing herself too hard. That's why she sent that guy back that had that never ending cold at the clinic. Turns out his brian was sinking and that's a horrible thing, you want your brain in the position it's suppose to be in. She misdiagnosed him because she's spread herself too thin with this clinic. Granted, the time for the clinic was opportune it has taken a lot of her stamina away as a surgeon. But now that Callie is Chief Resident, the pressure will be off of Bailey, and she can regain her momentum.
And I predict Callie messing up as CR and Bailey having to step in and save her ass. It's not that I'm against Callie, it's just that I'm for Izzy. But for some strange reason I still like her and George together. Izzy just needs a new love interest. I think they tried to go somewhere we didn't expect them to and got caught up. Because, who else was secretly fantasizing about the McSteamy/McIzzy love scene? Lmao, my favorite comical sex scene is when Addison is having sex with Sloane, and picturing Alex. She even tells Sloane as she's "arriving" (inside joke). Whit reminds me, Mark will have to stand on his own next season. No sexual interests to speak of, or at least none that will pay his manwhoring behind any attention. I mean we're thinking about Meredith taking that route, but would she really be that spiteful? It could happen if Derek starts to date her sister. It's just so funny to think of all these characters that you know they will eventually bring in. I been thinking about Lexy Grey since last season. Seriously. It's just so dann intricate I tell you. And what if McSteamy dates Lexy Grey. Whoa...oh the implications. There's just so much room for madness.
Ok, so back onto Cristina and Burke. I couldn't call what they have in store for next season. Is Burke going to leave Seattle Grace? Will he be the new Cardio-Thoracic surgeon at Mercy West? Will George start over his internship with the new Grey? Will Cristina be more emotionally stunted from being left at the alter. And how dramatic was her standing there in that dress. It was so, Stepmom meets Beaches. The Grey's Finale's always make you want to cry. Watch the one with Denny and see if you don't cry. And though we are mad at Burke we will get over it. He didn't want to force Cristina into something she's been complaining about since the beginning. I mean little things like when they picked the same cake gave us hope, but you can't rest your life on cake. And although I do think that Cristina could have been happy being married, once all the getting married was done, I'm not sure it would have lasted. She's a completely different person than Burke. We knew this from the beginning. Though their medical mindsets we in tune their personalities weren't. She's given up a lot of herself to be with Burke. She said it herself when she was pregnant, "He's turned me into this stupid fat girl, who cares!" However, had Cristina just walked down that aisle sooner, she might not have been walked out on. Because did you hear his vows. The man was serious. Those were some romantic sexy vows. They gave me chills. It was a classic Grey's speech and they needed a good one. And I love how Addison said, "Dump Yang and marry me." That was so funny. I think Addison will do well on her own. Or come crashing and crying back to Grey's. I leave you with those vows, and advise you to bitch at me about what I didn't cover, or what I should cover.
Oh and the climber story I thought was weak. Didn't do much for me...I've seen better acting and plot. They try to do what they always do which is having the patients mirror the struggle within the characters. It didn't mesh for me. You can tell Shonda didn't write much of that. Also the Gay Bar-Owning parents. Haha, such a weird couple Joe and Gaysian but they might have twins. So wow...Miranda will have to be setting up play dates with her son. And that's it for now, check back...maybe later. I might write my own Grey's script of the next show. Haha. I love doing that. So here are the vows I promied you:
"Cristina, I could promise to hold you and to cherish you. I could promise to be there in sickness and in health. I could say till death do us part. But I won't. Those vows are for optimistic couples, the ones full of hope. And I do not stand here on my wedding day hopeful and optimistic. I am not optimistic, I am not hopeful. I am sure. I am steady and I know. I am a heart man. I take them apart and put them back together. I hold them in my hands. I am a heart man. So this I am sure you are my partner, my lover, my very best friend. My heart, my heart beats for you. And on this day, the day of our wedding, I promise you this. I promise you to lay my heart in the palm of your hands. I promise you me."
(I typed this verbatim for you all. So feel special. It still gets me when I read it.)

GA Battle of the Grey's (Meredith vs. Lexi)
So I know many of you are wondering who was the very forward little Miss that tried to buy our McDreamy a drink? Um who else goes to bars and sleeps with inappropriate men when bad things happens? I'd say your long-lost sister whom you've never met's Boyfriend is pretty damn inappropriate. It's Lexi Grey, who also a medical intern. What a great way to bring her into the show, that Shonda is always thinking. And if I am wrong, she's related to Meredith in some way. Has to be, why else would we see her? Just a random woman? McDreamy's new love interest? I think not. Our McDreamy is well...McDreamy. He wouldn't cheat. He wasn't my favorite person the night he just let Meredith leave, I was really mad at him that night. Like, what was the point of that? "I'm tired of breathing for you?" Did we not remember at the beginning of the show, when he had just been betrayed by his best friend. Who did he say "was like coming up for air." I repeat verbatum, "It was like I was drowning and you saved me." And he saved her right back. Well, now we know even Shepherd isn't perfect. No matter how much he likes ferry boats or elevators, or catching trout, or wide open spaces with a trailer on it. It's time like this you really miss Doc. He was their little Devil-puppy's glue. I swear, had Lexi offered a shot of tequila I would have definitely known it was her.
I just can't help but feel pity for Meredith. She has had a lot happen to her, this year, last year, the year before. Being a medical intern in itself is a tough gig. The girl's got chops of steel to still be standing. If my real mom, and then my surrugate (an even better mom) just both died within months of one another, I'd be under the bar for weeks. Well, let's hope I never have to test that theory anytime within the next 80-100 years. And let's not forget she almost drowned, lost doc. Watched Izzy go through Denny, cried while having sex with George. She broke little McVet's heart. She got her panties pasted to the bulletin board and then almost got pummelled by Callie. Ok, point is, she's been through the ringer. I commend her for being as strong as she is. But at some point, she's gotta pull herself up by the boot straps and get a new outlook on life. She should just accept that bad things are gonna happen to her a lot, a whole lot. And she tried to have the whole Painting with the colors of the wind deal, and she's gotta stick with that. He's her knight in shining whatever and by God, she better beat her sister's ass for him.
Now let me get to George and Izzy. Izzy, who's still cute and sort of plateuing in her performance. Ever since she got married in real life and Denny almost died she hasn't been able to act out the angst she usually does. I wanna see her bake something...But George, I like George more and more since he got married. Even though he's a cheater, they were drunk...but they have genuine feelings. And like something's up with his hair, McMini has turned into McGeorgie. He's become a man, come into his own. Now he's got a little love triangle action going. Lord knows he'll have a vision with Callie and Izzy at some point it time, lol. I really do like Callie now...but she needs to become a divorcee...The way he looks at Izzy. It's the way McDreamy used to look at Meredith. And he's got those light eyes so it's like really intense, he's all like, "I really can't be kissing you in elevators," and you're like looking at his eyes all enamored like, "Huh?" And then you like shake your head, "I didn't kiss this fool in the elevator." Come on, don't lie. I saw some of you do it. (Actually, I didn't get to watch it with my fam the way I usually do on Thursday. I really missed it! I hope that they read this and know that watching Grey's with them is like one of my little joys in the world. Yes, Kathy and Marcos I mean you too. You are family. DUH!) And Mercy West? Yuck. Didn't one of their interns kill a pregnant woman? Yes, you Chow!
The Chief and his wife...I won't even touch. She is pregnant? Lord Jesus help the cheif. Adele was spotting all over the bathroom floor.
Bailey's got competition for chief resident? That will be interesting. I won't get into any theories. it would be funny to see someone else get picked and watch Bailey squirm about it, watch them fail, and then clean it all up. She's gonna rock that Hospital.
Alex and Jane Doe. You know why he's so mad? Besides the obvious that he stated. He feels if Mrs. Pope can do that to her husband, she can do it to him and that hurts. How can someone just disappear? He really has feelings for her and I think he was so hurt that she's the kind of woman who can just leave her husband for no good reason. He is so hurt. And you know he just wants to be that baby's daddy. He should just be happy she don't want her husband. But, you know, life ain't that simple.
The Exam? Umm real tough. I love that the chief even had a sandwhich for her. He is her dad. Whether she likes it or not, her real dad sucks like her mom did. And her surrogate mom was even better. It's a testament to Meredith and why we love her, even though her own family sucks she draws people in who are good, and want to help her, and who care and protect her. She's our Grey, and that's why she's the focal point of the show.
Gay, Bar-owning parents? Umm tell me Joe and his little Asian Sensation are not the most mismatched couple you've ever seen. Gay or Straight, it's just weird. But whatever, in this life nothing in improbable. We've been to the moon and by, sky is not the limit, the universe is. Their surrogate mother was cute. I like her. And since she has two babies, why not give one to the other couple and Joe and what's his face can keep the other. AND! (I'm really excited as I type this, which is odd.) They can meet at summer Camp!!!And do a weird Parent Trap. "Let's get together, yea, yea, yea." Lol. It's just cause I love Hailey Mills(The original "Parent Trap.") , and yes I still love Fire-Crotch (Lindsay Lohan) too.
Umm those mountain guys? All I can say is... What the Jesus? I guess they must have tried to put homeboy out of his misery? Watch one of those mountain climbers ends up being Jane Doe/Ava/ I can't remember her real name off the top of my head's husband. Shut up, you wouldn't have known it if I did write it. All I can remember now is Pope. Patricia. And I just watched it too. How pathetic. Dimentia I tell ya. That's the question of the week, write a comment with her name.
And Burke and Christina are getting married! Oh the elation. If a girl like Christina can get married there's hope out there for all you emotionally crippled people! Lol. And Burke, he's a black McDreamy. You can call him McChocolate, Chocolate Thunder, whatever you want ladies...and maybe some gentlemen? -lifts eyebrow- But yea, the dress, the chapel, the "Mama." I can't wait to see it all.
Who will George Pick?
Clues: Um, she's blonde and we love her.
Who was the woman McDreamy met?
Clues: She was wearing black, she had a bad day, she was at a bar (Joe's bar of all places) which is close to the Hospital, where she was waiting in the Car for Thatcher and Molly (The other sister), She's cute and forward, She kinda looks like Meredith, and there's a really big 99.9 percent chance her last name is Grey. Figure it out people.
Will Christina get married?
Um can we say runaway bride? Lol. Nah, she better if she knows what's good for her.
Will Callie get pregnant with George's baby?
Umm yuck.
Where will McSteamy go from here?
Are we losing Addison to another show?
Clues: Um yes...lol. Or so E! says. She will be starring in Montgomery's Anatomy.
Haha, I just had to do this. "There's another showing in an hour, and it's wet"
What will happen to the Chief's wife, will she die too?
What about those Mountain climbers?
Is Jane doe strong enough to catch Alex's syphillis?
Will Bailey become chief resident?
All these questions and more will be answered on the Season (Only Season, not Series, Don't get scared) Fiinale of, "Grey's Anatomy."
(Like Dane Cook says about shoes, I say phuck proofreading! But only for blogs. In the real world...you really have to know how to spell. Not like Black Eyed Peas either, T-to the-A- to the S-T-E-Y...Umm what? )
Ciao all. I couldn't write more. So tired. I'm a workaholic.

Grey's Anatomy: My Favorite Mistake
Greetings my Grey Peoples,
All right, so apparently Grey's isn't showing a new episode until I blog something? They must be on strike or something? Two weeks, come on Shonda, you're killing us. You can't just create a Hit TV show and then take multi-breaks at such a pivotal point in the plot. Who do you think you are, "The OC?" Well just remember, that show got cancelled...But enough of my threats, let's get down to the juice. Izzy and George had sex, Izzie and George...they had sex. That is just wrong on so many levels.
McMini gets McIzzy
"No one, meaning me, needs to hear George's rendition of Sexy back at 3 in the morning"- Christina
All right, so apparently since Pluto is not a planet anymore, the world's gravity has shifted, Anna Nicole died and we still don't know who the daddy is, and former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich(Don't care how I spell it, he's an ass.) calling Spanish the language of the Ghetto.( I for one believe you should learn other languages, it's useful. What's with all this sameness? We can't Walmart the World people. We are diverse, accept it. Italians make Pizza, Chinese make Rice Patties, and Ray J made a sex tape with Kim Karshardian, it's 2006 people. Whitney is pulling a Demi.) So what other logical sense could it make that Izzie and George had some startling sex? I mean he did almost break Callie's vajayjay when his father died, George is apparently as RKelly would name him, a "GoGetHer." And who knew? We always loved George as the awkward social outcast who's sort of never gets the girl, but homeboy's got to bodacious(yes that's an academic word) babes and is in real life, playing for the other team. I don't know how many people take issues with his homosexuality, but I think it's funny. The show almost set you up for that the first episode when he's going on about the strappy sandals and later on when he meets that friend of the chief's who needed a liver and kept flirting with George. That sort of comical ambiguity really helps. Because TR is gay, George is not people. George can actually call himself the Sultan of Punanny(Closer reference).
I read somewhere that they were sayin Grey's is the first real show where the character's beauty (mostly talking the girls here) takes a backseat to their personality, and that it's the first show that portrays women in a real light. I think it's perfectly true. I work with an entire office of attractive women, and it's good that people know, attractive people can be smart. We can have it all, lol(Yes you who are reading this, you gorgeous creature you). Not that I'm glib or anything, I was ugly duckling for quite some time in between. I was a gorgeous baby, big head, but gorgeous. But you know, there's that balance in life. You lack one thing, you make up for it somewhere else. Such is the Circle/Cycle of life. Whoa, way off topic now. Let's move on. But they had hours and hours of sex. He meant it more than once, hilarious.
MerDer Sex?
I read somewhere in the blog for the show about it being a long time for MerDer sex, that was totally understandable...but I just assumed they were having sex...lol. I mean it was a cute moment when Mer was kissing his "boo-boo's" away but they always have their cute little moments. She's all painting with the colors of the wind and shit and he's her knight in shining whatever. I think they're a great representation of a couple today, flawed, yet still together, still sticking it out. I think a lot of people these days are like, fuck this I am out for myself. I can't be bothered with anyone else. I got one life to live, one chance to be bold and beautiful and follow my passions. Lol. Well party people, that's shit. You need someone to go home to at the end of the day. It's all right to be single. I for one am a fan, but it's lonely kid. Besides, I need someone to be accountable for you, and not just yo' mama. Like the man at Walmart today wearing an all Lime-Green suit, who the hell let him make that mistake? I need someone to cuss when you act a fool and cut me off on the highway. Who do I blame when you mark Bush on the ballot? If it's just you, that's no fun. If you have a partner it's more likely you'll make a well thought-out decision about your actions. People make people accountable. You don't become a Teacher/Porn Star otherwise you employers and co-workers will start looking at you funny. It's true, your network makes you accountable for what you do. And we all just love, someone to kiss you on your neck, and whisper nasty things like, "All I need is a moment alone to give you my tongue and make you out of control," in your ear. Yea, I said it. Get some lovin'. Ain't nothing wrong with getting you groove back if you lost it. Unless you groove is really gay and wanted a green card...poor Stella. On to newer topics. Mer kicked Derek out of the room when he brought up Sloane's motives. I felt the tension in that room. He was right, but Meredith took a page from her dead Mother's book and did the surgery anyway. Ballsy...and it's exactly what Ellis would have done. She was kinda right about Derek holding her back from being the best she can be, but what she really didn't know was that she was the problem. Meredith couldn't be the best Meredith because her own harsh crazy mother didn't recognize her half the time and she was harboring all this anger for her father. Now that Ellis is gone, we see some of that fixing of her life. I think Meredith's mom dying gave her strength to be a better surgeon and just prove her mother wrong.
Wishin' and Hopin' and Plannin and Prayin'.
Christina's "Be Kind Rewind Operation" was funny. Burke and Christina are tying the knot, you are cordially invited. Just a small ceremony with Mer and Der, and the Justice of the Peace. No veil because who the hell wants some mosquito net hanging over their face in their wedding day? And white? Who are we kidding here? You don't buy the car before test driving. That's how people ended up with the crappy Yugo. I love it, I absolutely can't wait to see Burke and Christina get married. He wants so bad to start a family, and Christina is so not use to having a family that she likes. I would love to see her mother again, Mrs. Rubenstein:(To Burke) "You're good-looking, Christina, he's good looking. Why don't you ever bring a man home this good-looking?" I just know she might end up crying like she did after her miscarriage, "I can't stop crying, somebody sedate me!!!" She makes me crack up. I know people like Christina. You don't agree with them on everything, but you love them so much, because they are so unapologetically themselves. It's a beautiful to embrace your personality. When she talks to the patient with diabetes, "Did you go to medical school?" I died. And then the poor guy has to chop off his foot and Christina realizes that it might be too late for her patient's foot, but that he has the other foot. While she might not want to marry Burke the traditional way, they can do it their own way. "You try and keep your other foot. "
I love Burke's line about "I wanna move forward, I'm not interested in going back." Burke is so wise sometimes. Isaiah might be a bigot, but Burke is infinitely wise reguardless of him.
Calliapie? O'Malley
Whoa, and we thought her middle name was weird. Apparently Callie comes with a lot more drama than we ever knew. I love that she is is so awkward when it comes to her dad. I love when Izzie walks in on the two of them while Callie is trying to get George cleaned up.
Izzie: "Oh the O'Malley's.(awkward laugh) Do your stuff, your married stuff, Yay."
And then Izzie is nervous all day around Callie and she has to be her intern which is all too hapless. That is to say hilarious. Then Geoge asks the woman who can barely move to lie still during a CT, that was awkwardly funny. And worst of all Izzy has to confide in Addison. My favorite lines are:
Addy: "So God's plan is for you to commit adultery."
Izzy:"God got a virgin pregnant by magic, he's not exactly playing by the rules."
And how weird is it that Callie's dad is Hector Elizondo, from Princess Diaries and Pretty Woman. He was great as Callie's father. You always feel under pressure with that guy.
Jane Doe's New Face
Yet another example of Alex softening up. Come on kid, how many damn gold stars do you want on your HW? I personally want to see Alex man-up again. It's all right for him to get in touch with his pink and squishy feelings,(Aww he loves banana cream pie, gag me. lol) but I miss the old Alex. (Even though that is good pie) He's so deep in uterii right now that his mojo is almost non-existent. But there are small redeeming moments like when he says to her, "If you don't pick a face, (opens the mirror) this is what you'll look like the rest of your life." But I think some Frat Brother or Wrestling buddy visits are in order. Open this kid up a bit more to us. I think because we have so many damn characters it's hard to get everybody's story in there. Hence, the spin-off, which I kinda blame for slowing down Grey's production.
The Race for Chief
Webber:"He has a ten year plan."
Shepherd:"What he's only been here a day."
Webber:"Did you see that folder, the man has a plans, tweaks for my hospital."
I love everbody stepping up their game. Burke was all in his suit, pitching ideas to the Board. Poor Shep, he was in bad shape. Mark really knew how to push his buttons And Mark was a sneaky little bastard, but you have to admire his gumption. Even Addison had to pony up her charisma.
Sloane: What are you weaknesses?
Addison: I don't have any. I'm that good.
Sloane: "I'm an easy target for evil red-heads."
The banter between these two is very cute. And when Sloane asks Bailey what she would do to improve the hospital, she gives him the typical Bailey talk-to. The "Right now" plan was funny.
But at the end of the day, Meredith suceeded and kissed Derek's pain away. Burke and Christina came to an understanding, and George and Mr. Torres even negotiated. Now I know some of you are still sore about the George and Izzy sexcapades...everything has a purpose in this show. And don't lie...sometimes some of ya'll wake up remembering the shit you did the night before and wished you hadn't. Bourbon does some strange things to you. And remember George and Izzie were doing every damn this else a couple does before Callie came along. They just didn't have sex. And it's funny that I came to this realization at the end of the blog that the daughter of the mother whose organs were turning to stone represented Izzy. Izzy froze up after Denny died and she's learning from her mistakes. And damn homegirl was thrown a curve ball, realizing that she was in some weird way in love with George. It'll all make sense soon. We just have to wait, and have faith. And wait we will, the next episode is slated for :

Grey's Anatomy: Seeing Grey
Commentary on "Losing my Religion."
So I know that many of you watched the season finale of Grey's Anatomy, which was really like three episodes jam-packed into two nights of unadulterated, (wait no...there was some adultery going on) fun. Hehe, it never ceases to amaze me the amount of mistakes people make, well-knowing the consequences. I am guilty of this myself of course, but there are sometimes when the universe makes allowances. Like last night.
He had those eyes and she had that dress, what else did you expect to happen? It was like I thought it, and my TV willed to into fruition. And ok yes, the panties coming off was a little skanky ( I mean they didn't have to show those panties and they did...God love 'em.) but it was what we all waited for the entire season. We had watched Derek, who by the way chased Meredith, made her fall in love with him, and then left her to be with his wife. I admit, staying married was an admirable thing to do, a stupid one, but that's who Derek is. But raise your hand if you're tired of seeing Derek play the hero.
"When you waited two months to tell me, and I have to find out by her showing up all leggy and fabulous and telling me herself. You pulled the plug on a sink with an open drain. Anything you say runs right out, there is no enough."
If this is measure of how American Society has changed due to the invention of television it is sad and sort of funny at the same time. How many people are praying that Derek will leave his wife and that Meredith (Who by the way just pieced back together her life. I means Finn has plans, all sorts of plans.) leaves Finn and gets back together with Derek. Hate McDreamy for being so damn appealing and so damn unavailable to Meredith. Calling her a whore, you're the whore. I mean it's a lot of drama to deal with in one sitting. Finn is a great guy, no matter how scary or damaged,(He saved Gotham City, and I'm sure banged Alicia Silverstone.) and that small insight into his background a few episodes ago just makes you feel for him. And even Addison I've developed feelings for. She loved her husband, and he was soo damn apathetic that he caught her cheating and didn't even bother to show how angry he was. I would like to quote McSteamy:"He catches me in bed with his wife, I mean actually in the throws, and he just walks away. But he sees me so much as talking to you and I'm on the floor bleeding."
So in my eyes, that marriage is over, it was over even before Addison cheated on Derek. The fact that he stayed with her and even tried to make it was a great sign of how McDreamy will one day be a good McDad.
Poor McVet, if Meredith doesn't choose him, he might become an alcoholic or something, not that I'd blame him. He's got issues all on his own that we haven't even touched yet.
Now onto to Callie and George...what is that? It's so odd. She is soo....SOO, and he is soo George. But I like George a lot because in his own way, he's a McMinni, I mean he knows how to say the right thing, in just the right way, when he's not flustered or nervous. I've yet to hear the other Doctors really get through to patients the way George has, Burke's pretty good, but to some degree they all sound clinical, George just sounds warm and friendly.
And what the hell were they thinking shooting Burke? Burke...My head of Cardiothoracic surgery shot on my surgical floor? They have got to be kidding me. I think as scary a move as it was to have him shot it was worth it, it showed him as being more human, because lord knows as much as he claims to be a person, he's a little androidian(you know, like a robot.) And how much of a mess was Cristina this episode. As much as you want to condemn her for being hesistant, she's grown a lot. I think Burke might be the first real guy she's opened up to and that scares her a little bit.
Well, Bailey didn't have too much going on except that her interns were running a muck behind her back, falling in love with patients, asking about dog bones, falling asleep during sex, trying to escape the vagina squad, and not saying I love you in return, but most of all having to go to the prom. And damn did you see here micromanage the prom of the century? Bailey is a complex woman. "I like Judy dolls, I own Judy dolls, the only problem I have is that they're in the bowel of this man."
Alex showed a little heart this episode but he hasn't redeemed himself.
The Chief, I will leave alone, he has issues as well.
Now, the good stuff. Denny and Izzy. She looked amazing in that dress, she was dolled up, no doubt. But she was inevitably unlucky. We all knew Denny was going to die at some point in the show. Shows like this, with people that sick are always there for a reason. I mean don't get me wrong he was looking strong, but his proposal said it all. She steals a heart for him and they live happily ever after. After she broke almost all of the vows she swore as a Doctor she wouldn't. Denny was a good guy, I would have liked to see them at least have had more time. But life is unexpected like that, things happen, complications occur and people leave, even when things are going well. So I guess the moral message was to cherish your loved ones, but also don't steal hearts. Because when they don't belong to you...they really don't belong to you. 17 seconds. or not. That was really dramatic having her walk out in that dress, and even be in that bed next to his corpse in that dress, there is some good ass thinking going on over there Shonda Rhimes. You're ridiculously smart.
So what now?
A
summer of repeats...endless Sundays without the warmth of a new episode?
Get a life people...if anything Grey's should inspire you to join the medical field. I could learn about appendectamies and pericardiotomies all day long...almost. They should use that in school...educational entertainment. It works. I know more about cystic fibrosis, nemothorax, and pericardial windows than I can even express.
And really...if you must cry. For the summer will be Grey...but it's like what 3 Months...My heart is still recovering. They did that final 3 episodes thing to last us the three months, they did a good job...I have no qualms about the show...it gives you this indescribable warm, sad, playful, intelligent, sometimes incredibly painful sense of relevance. Life just didn't make sense before Grey's Anatomy (Ok maybe it's not that serious...but seriously. Seriously....)
