Research and (Sexual) Development

I found myself watching the first episode of Sex and the City again. It's a really good introduction into the world of relationships in Manhattan as well all over. It made think I should blog about the relationships in Miami. The landscape of relationships haven't changed much since the end of Sex and the City last aired but I think it's one of those topics that never go out of style. We all make and end new friendships, connections (both physical and emotional) constantly.

I wondered: "What has made dating in Miami so fragmented?" I know a lot of really good people who are single and lot of people who should be single yet are trapped in these abusive relationships. I met a girl today who offered an interesting quote from a Spaniard(Genuinely from Spain). He said that we Americans dance like we're having sex, but the Spaniards actually go home and have sex. I think it's true. Miami is sort of this cesspool where people come to be morally ambiguous. You make out with someone one day, and then ignore them the next. It's sort of this ridiculous rule book that when you don't know...when you find out or see it in action you think you're on an episode of S&tC. The behavior is a far cry from the ideals we all learned( Or should have learned.)

What you have to understand is that this generation is a new wave of things both good and bad. I guess we'll go on this journey and navigate it together.
