Where is the Love? My First blog...Cuteness

Today I found myself asking the question BEP prompted. We're all vitcims of society. We're the products of broken homes, the brothers and sisters of strangers. We're the sons and daughters of people who want us to be someone else. We've been raped, we've been opressed, we've been hated, we've been persecuted, we've been un-loved. We've been sad, we've been angry, we've been gyped. We've even been used. We're lonely. We're all just striving to survive. To procure some semblance of self and stay true to who we think we are. The things I find that help are friends, music, and scripture. They are the things that make us feel. Friends turn into lovers, music turns into dance, And scriptures turn into books. Right? -scratches head.- What do you want out of life? I think we're all searching for love in the wrong places. You find love in yourself, you find love in a sense of family, you find love in the things you enjoy to do. Love starts with you. We're all kind of selfish. Loving someone else is just realizing how much you love yourself. Real love brings out the best in you and when it leaves you just sort of forget. It's like when you left the comfort of the womb and have to start all over in a strange new place. Where is the love? It never left, you just can't see it sometimes. Love transends all negative things. Love is stronger than war, it's stronger than religion, love is the one common thing all creatures share. I know you didn't think a mother protecting her cub was just a survival of species thing. Love was invented to keep us together above all other things that tear us apart. Cherish love, don't abuse it, and don't use Love's name in vain.
